Added safety for early signs of memory loss
We recognize residents may experience cognitive issues before an actual dementia diagnosis. We can help keep them self-sufficient and safe in our Personal Care setting with an added feature: the Wander Guard. Residents go about their day wearing a special bracelet. If an individual should attempt to exit the building unsupervised, a low-volume alarm alerts our team who reengages the resident inside the building or accompanies him or her outside.
At Ecumenical, we customize our care plans based on residents’ needs and preferences. That is why we have different types of memory support for different levels of memory loss. We can support early signs of cognitive decline in Personal Care with added programming and the Wander Guard. And for those individuals who need more specialized assistance, we offer a secured neighborhood with access to gated gardens and walking paths.
