Eat Well to Live Well
“Good food” typically doesn’t come to mind when thinking about a senior living community. At Ecumenical Retirement Community, we work hard to break those stereotypes. We appreciate that our retirement living residents look forward to a meal as it’s a time to see friends and neighbors and enjoy a delicious entrée.
Our dining experience provides you with a variety of healthy, meals, professionally prepared three times a day by our Culinary team. Together with our sister communities, Country Meadows Retirement Communities, our dining program is led by a registered, licensed dietitian who is enthusiastic about integrating regionally specific cuisine along with healthy choices. Our recipes incorporate regional flavors and resident favorites. The menu selection allows you to choose items based upon your personal preferences. And many have been inspired by suggestions from our resident-run Dining Committee.
Residents enjoy occasional Sunday brunches, often featuring omelet, waffle or carving stations. Fresh fruit, cookies, ice cream, juices, coffee and tea are available for you and your guests throughout the day and evening.
The meal is just part of our dining experience. Before joining their friends tableside, many residents socialize and catch up with neighbors at happy hour.
