Memory Support Services are fun with our Connections Signature Programs
At Ecumenical Retirement Community, we recognize the importance of purposeful, meaningful and personalized engagement for our residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Through our seven Connections Signature Programs organized by the Dynamic Living staff, residents receive memory support services through hands-on activities that are not only fun, but also benefit residents physically, emotionally and cognitively.

While co-worker led programming is at the heart of the Connections Dynamic Living program, not all residents can participate in every program, and there are times when many of our residents will not want to be part of a structured activity. That is where Connections Signature Programs come in! They are available to any resident who is interested, but participation is not required while living in our Connections Memory Support Services neighborhood. However, we have found that the variety in the activities appeal to our resident’s diverse interests, backgrounds, hobbies and Life Stories.
