Groovy event celebrates memories from Woodstock

Ecumenical Retirement Community transformed into a haven or peace, love and music as it hosted its annual “Woodstock Day.” The event brought together residents, co-workers and visitors, bringing back cherished memories from the iconic music festival.

A sea of tie-dye shirts, flower crowns, fringed leather vests and bell-bottom pants flooded the grounds, adding to the spirit of the day. Psychedelic decorations and groovy music played as residents and co-workers danced, played games and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

One resident said, “I never thought I’d go to Woodstock at this age!”
